Kaiut Yoga Austin

27 October to 1 November 2026

Your body
remembers
how to move.

Ravi Kaiut comes back to Austin for six days. Stiff to strong, in a room with the man who grew up inside this method.

He teaches here once a year. People fly in for it. If you have been practising and wondering what the next layer looks like, this is it, and if you have never been on a Kaiut mat in your life there is a class here with your name on it too.

A full Kaiut Yoga class, every student supported on the floor

27 October to 1 November

Six days with
Ravi Kaiut.

Who Ravi is

He is Francisco Kaiut’s son, and at four years old he had Legg-Calvé-Perthes disease, which deforms the hip and hurts. The method reached him early enough that he never had the surgery. He walks without pain. He went on to place third in the world in bodybuilding.

He also holds a master’s degree in neuroscience, which is why the classes he teaches explain themselves as they go. His life and the method are not separable, and it shows in how he reads a room.

Intro to Kaiut Yoga with Ravi

Tuesday 27 October, 2pm or 7:30pm

The whole method in one class, taught by the person best placed to explain it. It works through the joints wherever mobility has gone, and it is equally useful to an athlete and to someone who has not been on the floor in twenty years. The people who feel most restricted usually feel the most. No experience necessary.

$38

until 15 August, then $42. Members $35.

Seven 90-minute masterclasses

Wednesday 28 to Friday 30 October

The modern body is not broken. It is domesticated, overprotected and underused. That is the starting point, and each of the seven takes a different dimension of it: the joints, the bones, the nervous system, the fascia. Every class stands on its own, with its own poses and sequences. Together they are an education in your own body.

Two of them are named for what people most often come in carrying. Stress management on Wednesday at 3:30pm, working at the place stress actually accumulates rather than at the feeling of it. And pain management at 5:30pm the same day, which goes at the source rather than at the sensation, for anyone living with chronic discomfort or working back from an injury.

Two-day practice intensive

Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November

Two days to go into the logic of the method properly. Why the joints are the way in to the nervous system, how restricted movement turns into pain, and what a body does when it is finally given the conditions to reorganise. Sustained practice, not a lecture. You will leave understanding your own body better and knowing what to do about it. Open to all levels.

$358

until 15 August, then $419. Members $352.

Five-day practice intensive

Wednesday 28 October to Sunday 1 November · 18.5 hours

A retreat pulls you away from your life. This pulls you further into your body, and we are careful about the difference. All seven masterclasses plus the two-day intensive, eighteen and a half hours across five days, in which your body will meet itself in ways it rarely gets the chance to.

You come out understanding not just what the method does but why it works the way it does in your particular body. The people who change most are the ones who show up fully.

$708

until 15 August, then $767. Members $619.

If your plans change

Between seven and thirteen days, half. Under seven days, or a no-show, is not refundable, but tell us and you can pass your place to somebody else.

Thank you for understanding. It keeps the container strong for everyone in it.
