The shoulder that will not reach. The hip that decides how far you walk. The back that picks the day for you.
You have probably been told to stretch more, or to accept that this is what getting older feels like. Neither one worked. Stiffness is not a character flaw and it is not a sentence.
Kaiut Yoga works joint by joint. Slow, specific positions, held long enough for the nervous system to take the information in and give something back. It is not stretching and it is not a workout. It is a practice for getting function returned to you.

It is not the yoga you are picturing
Nobody is going to ask you to touch your toes. There is no flow to keep up with and no back of the room to hide in. You will use a bolster and a wall and quite a lot of floor, and you will be working the whole time.
Students arrive at every age and every history. Post-surgery, post-injury, athletes whose hips have stopped forgiving them, people who have never taken a yoga class in their lives. The method meets the body it is given.

Renae Molden runs the licensed Kaiut school for Austin. She came to the method in her forties, after a career in enterprise technology and three decades of nerve pain, and opened the studio in 2019. She teaches nearly every class on the schedule herself.
Come to a class
16 classes a week, seven days, from 9am to 7:30pm, in the room and streaming live at the same time.
Two weeks of unlimited classes is $42. That is long enough to stop judging it on one class, which is the only fair way to judge it.
